Arrow Systems, Inc. Announces the Launch of the ArrowJet MTS-48 A Breakthrough in Membrane Switch & Industrial Overlay Printing

Arrow Systems, Inc. is proud to announce the launch of the ArrowJet MTS-48, a next-generation UV LED membrane switch printer engineered specifically for high-precision sub-surface and second-surface printing. Purpose-built for applications such as membrane switches, overlays, nameplates, instrument panels, and industrial user interfaces, the ArrowJet MTS-48 is designed to deliver exceptional adhesion, long-term durability, and superior print clarity for even the most demanding production environments.

Compact yet industrial in performance, the ArrowJet MTS-48 introduces a powerful new standard for OEM manufacturers, converters, and electronics producers looking to elevate the quality, lifetime performance, and reliability of their functional graphic components. The system features 3–6 Ricoh Gen6 printheads, up to 1200 dpi resolution, and production speeds of up to 580 ft²/hr, making it one of the most efficient and precise printers in its category. Its advanced UV LED curing, robust 4-zone vacuum flatbed, and compatibility with large sheet sizes enable seamless handling of polycarbonate, polyester, PC/PET blends, rigid vinyl, acrylic, co-polyesters, and other industry-standard substrates used in industrial interfaces.

A major highlight of the new platform is Arrow’s PolyFlex PC UV LED inkset, engineered specifically for membrane switch and overlay durability. These inks offer strong adhesion on polycarbonate and membrane films, high opacity, chemical and abrasion resistance, and the flexibility required for multi-layer, embossed, and actuating switch structures. The inks are PSA-resistant to prevent lift and smearing—critical for laminated interfaces—and meet GE Lexan® and Valox® PTX specifications, ensuring consistent long-term performance across industrial, automotive, medical, and appliance applications.

Speaking on the launch, Mr. Shaan Patel, Director of Arrow Systems, Inc., shared his excitement about what this new platform means for the global manufacturing community.
“The ArrowJet MTS-48 represents a major leap forward for converters and OEMs who rely on precision, durability, and reliability in their Membrane switch production,” said Patel. “For years, the industry has been forced to compromise between speed and quality. With the MTS-48, we’ve eliminated that compromise. We wanted to build a system that not only prints beautifully but stands up to real-world environments: automotive dashboards, medical equipment, industrial controls, aviation panels, places where failure is not an option.”

The ArrowJet MTS-48 delivers up to three years of lightfastness, 1500 hours of weathering resistance with minimal change, and print durability validated through rigorous cross-hatch adhesion and environmental testing. These performance metrics make it an ideal choice for mission-critical products that must withstand constant use, UV exposure, and harsh industrial conditions.

Patel further emphasized the company’s long-term vision for the technology:
“Our goal at Arrow Systems has always been to bridge the gap between innovation and real manufacturing needs. The MTS-48 is more than a printer it’s a production solution that empowers manufacturers to streamline workflows, expand design possibilities, and deliver higher-value products to their customers. We see this technology shaping the next era of membrane switch production globally.”

The new system supports a wide range of applications, including automotive dashboards, HVAC control interfaces, industrial machine panels, medical keypads, consumer electronics user interfaces, fitness equipment controls, and aviation cockpit instruments. Its versatility, combined with industrial-grade performance, positions the ArrowJet MTS-48 as a transformational addition to the membrane switch and overlay printing sector.

With the launch of the ArrowJet MTS-48, Arrow Systems, Inc. continues its commitment to advancing digital print technology through innovation, precision engineering, and customer-driven design.
