Filtrabox Compact
The Compact is a small fume extractor that can be used for a number of industries including printing, health and beauty supplies, laser cutting, laser engraving, and many more. It uses a unique filtration system that has three stages:
The Pre-filter
In this stage, and particles that has been extracted with the fumes will be taken up by this first filter. Utilizing the pre-filter allows us to achieve longer life in the HEPA and Carbon filters by keeping them clean of debris. Our unique cylindrical shape allows for more surface area for the particles to attach to before the filter has to be replaced.
The HEPA Filter
The HEPA Filter, or High Efficiency Particle Air Filter, filters out the smaller particles that may have passed through the Pre-filter undetected. These smaller particles are trapped in the HEPA filter while the rest of the fumes get pushed into the final stage.
The Carbon Filter
The final stage of the filtration process is passing the fumes through a bed of activated carbon. The carbon filter removes all remaining contaminants and impurities in the fumes before recirculating the clean air back into the environment.
